In Ra-Hoor-Khuit’s chapter of Liber AL vel Legis he mentions a “war-engine.”

Note Aleister Crowley’s original comments which here follow the text of the Book of the Law, chapter 3: verses three to nine:

The “none” that shall stand before you is the sky-goddess Nuit.

The Sun-god Ra-Hoor-Khuit, in his chapter of the Book of Codes, says:

The war-engine turns out to be a ritual of magick (sex-magic) in which menstrual blood is its fuel and the priest’s ejaculate — well formed by love under will — is its motor.

The name of the fertility god Osiris is also understood to mean “corpse.” The erection dies after giving up its blood. By this interpretation, the priest’s corpse is the war-engine’s motor.

Sexual secretions resulting from magick are collected on ginger-cinnamon cookies (cakes of light) and eaten, acting as a potent hormonal drug to alter consciousness.

Thelemic worship is an actual change of perspective, not thoughts and prayers. The Sun-god Ra-Hoor-Khuit, whose war-engine is a ritual of sex-magic (magick), is the “visible object of worship.” The others, Nuit and Hadit, are secret (secrete). The X of “Ordeal x” is צTzedeq (90), Tzedeq: the Word of the Elixir.

Ra-Hoor-Khuit says, in 220,3:49, “I am in a secret fourfold word, the blasphemy against all gods of men.” In 718,1:11, He says, “My scribe has described “Tzedeq” as this word.”

The Sun-god Ra-Hoor-Khuit, who represents your Holy Guardian Angel, is in the sexual secretions resulting from love under will.

Aleister Crowley was explicitly cued to the use of sex to cause change in consciousness by the Book of the Law when he was 28 years old, having achieved the necessary skills needed to contact his Holy Guardian Angel, Aiwass.

These skills include development of the senses of his body of light, Pratyahara, and Dharana. Even then it was another five years before he took Liber AL seriously. As a result, he associated the eating of sexual secretions with adeptship in the Order of the Rosy Cross, to which he had gained entry at the time.

In my experience the shaping of sexual secretions by visualisation, causing neuroplastic change, begins at the very beginning of the ladder of Thelemic initiation with the Ordeal X, which is faced by the Neophyte.

In fact, the first effort to love Nuit with focussed sexual expression begins the Ordeal X by subtly shifting the practitioners perspective at a fundamental level. It is not necessary at this point to eat your sexual secretions, but it is worthwhile to value the impetus that programmes them. The ordeal satisfies the need to cope with, or accommodate, the shift in perspective.

All sexual acts programme consciousness. The key to spiritual liberation is to take personal responsibility for your own programming, that is, to choose the gods you worship.

All sexual behaviour creates gods, which are symbols in the form of persons. Usually, the gods are as diffuse as the random images of unfocused orgasms, so they have only a small effect on consciousness.

Sometimes people establish neuronal pathways of hate (e.g., blackpilled incels), sadism, masochism, or other fetishes. Crowley was a masochist. Whatever turns you on can be channelled into a symbol of the sky-goddess Nuit as orgasm approaches. You can track your progress by tasting your semen and, with practice of ARMS, changing it from bitter or metalic to sweet.

Thelemic magick takes advantage of the power of orgasm to drive the focus of attention deeply into the present, programming the brain by focusing on an intentionally chosen symbol of Nuit. ΘελημαTelhma
Thelema means that which is willed.

The sky-goddess Nuit says, in chapter one of the Book of the Law,

We cannot worship Nuit directly, but we can create our own symbol — the Neophyte’s pentacle — to represent Nuit and imagine that symbol at orgasm. The pentacle you create should be simple enough to easily visualise.

Note that it was Aleister Crowley’s duty to learn and teach all methods of magick. Crowley changed the symbols he burned up in the fire of his orgasms according to the object of the ritual.

I have a much more utilitarian task — promulgation of Liber 440 — so I choose only one symbol: my Neophyte’s pentacle. I use that pentacle to smite unwanted thoughts so Nuit will stand before me.

Crowley wrote, in The Confessions, page 72,

‘The libido of the unconscious’ is really ‘the true will of the inmost self.’

It is important to understand that the desire of the unconscious mind (temple of the HGA) is the true will of the inmost self, the Holy Guardian Angel, the “thou” in Do what thou wilt.

Nuit says,

If the God and the Adorer are one and the same, Nuit is everything.

When the message transmitted from waking awareness to the Khu symbolises Nuit, the response from your Eternal Self echoes in return. The message does not get through to the Angel in its house, nor the echo returned, when thoughts diffuse focus. Silence the noise to perceive the signal.

Ra-Hoor-Khuit’s “secret house” is Het, the Moon, the Holy Guardian Angel’s temple, the Anahata chakra, the House 418, the Khu, Atu VII The Chariot, the sign Cancer in the zodiac.

Almost all writers who address the subject, abjure the use of menstrual blood in magick and attribute the behaviour to a transgressive or “left-hand” path. Note that the Latin word for left is “sinister,” attributed to the distaff side. This is yet another example of the irresponsible ethos of male dominance over women. The Scarlet Woman must be recruited, not enslaved. It should be about joy, not fear. In Thelema everyone chooses for themself and is responsible for their choices.

The Bible says, in 1 Timothy, 2:11-2:14,

The Book of the Law says:

In the Scarlet Woman is all power given.

In a letter dated April 30, 1943, which appears in Aleister Crowley’s Introduction to Magick Without Tears, he states: “But I have published openly all the secrets.” At the end of the letter he goes on to say,

Note: the term of art, “Black Brother,” has nothing to do with skin colour, ethnicity, or race. It is a case of separate self domineering Eternal Self.

Enlightenment reveals that the self is just a container for ultimate sparks of the intimate fire.

An advanced Adept, skilled enough to use the awesome power of manifestation provided by the Scarlet Woman, without calamity, is of the grade Hermit (Adeptus Major) and above. The Scarlet Woman is a rôle not a particular person.

Homosexual and non-binary magick are also valid means to cause chosen neuroplastic change.

I can attest that the magickal technique of the Hermit is a powerful means of deep brain programming which echoes in the daily life of celebrants. It is powerful for it recruits the innermost unconscious mind to the task not merely of survival but of thriving in the world.

Liber 440 asserts, over and over again, that there must be joy in every magickal act. If the participants are joyful, they contribute a greater balance of supportive hormones to the elixir, which then reinforces desired neural programming.

If you pursue chastity — direct your lust to a symbol of Nuit — you can use magick to advance your Journey Inwards on the path of initiation. But Nuit and Hadit are secret: known only to adepts. The Zelator, who has won through the Ordeal X and knows Nuit by experience, is an adept. The Neophyte, who faces the Ordeal X, is not an adept.

That level of focus takes a great deal of practice. The practice of ARMS (Asana, Ritual, Magick, and Science) is indispensable for training the mind and body to be sufficiently chaste (sincere) to participate in the Ritual of the War-Engine.

The secret fourfold word is Tzedeq, the Word of the Elixir. The Sun-god Ra-Hoor-Khuit dwells in the Elixir. The Sun is exalted in Aries, Atu IV The Emperor of Tarot which is attributed to the Hebrew letter צ, Tzedeq.

Knowledge of the Elixir cannot be read off a page or learned by instruction. Only personal experience can engender sufficient sincerity (innocence) for healthful practice of the Ritual of the War-Engine.
